Locals Celebrate Day of Dead

DULUTH - An event kicked off celebrating the dead. Poetry, music, art and food were on deck at the depot for the seventh annual All Souls Night.

Organizers say the event is all about having fun and recognizing their ancestors.

"There may be people here who are no longer with us that we're mourning,” All Souls Night Organizer Mary Plaster said. “So hopefully there's a nice balance between having some grief around that and celebrating their life and being happy that they were here."
