SUPERIOR - The push for Superior's first-ever dog park got closer to a vote Wednesday night.The Superior Jaycees held a public meeting to let people know the plans.The Jaycees is funding the park that's proposed for the Billings Park Civic Association Complex at New York Avenue and 18th Street."We are encouraging everybody to contact their city councilor whether they're in favor of it or not. It's not set yet; the city council really needs to vote on it next Tuesday," said Amber Pedersen, president of Superior Jaycees.The Superior Parks and Recreation Commission Supports the new dog park location.The council will have the final say at Tuesday's regular city council meeting.
