West Duluth Library to Close for Recarpeting

DULUTH - West Duluth Branch Library (5830 Grand Avenue) will be closed from January 20-24 for recarpeting.

While other improvements have been made to the branch library, this is the first time it has closed for remodeling since opening in 1991.

Books and other materials returned in the West Duluth Library book drop will be checked in once each day, but people are encouraged to return their library materials to the downtown Main Library that week.

Reserved books will be held at West Duluth Branch for an additional week, and people may pick them up during the week of January 27.

The Main Library and Mt. Royal Branch Library will be open their regular hours Tuesday – Saturday.

Both libraries are closed Monday, January 20, for Martin Luther King Day.

Funding for the West Duluth Branch Library recarpeting project comes from the City of Duluth Capital Improvement Fund.
