DULUTH - Now that Ebola has made its way to the U.S., hospitals across the country are making plans to combat the virus if it spreads.Doctors at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth say the plan to keep the disease from spreading is similar to the one used to stop swine flu in 2009. Experts aren't surprised Ebola has spread to the United States because they say every disease is just an airplane ride away."We have one college and two universities and we have a lot of international travelers either students or faculty,” explained St. Lukes Infectious Disease Specialist Dr. Linda Van Etta. “We also have a lot of people who are tourists." Doctors want to assure the public the chances of the average American getting Ebola are slim to none, and more people are likely to die from the flu than Ebola.
