Fat Bike vs Skinny Skis

DULUTH-Fat bikes took on skinny skis in an epic, 20 kilometer, battle today.
The results are in and it's the skis that are the fastest.
Race coordinator, Lucas Kramer said, "as far as we can tell, it's the very first, potentially in the world, definitely in this region to pit the two competitors against each other."
The race combined the top times of the first 10 competitors to cross the finish line to determine who's the fastest.
But they say the event was really about creating unity on the trails.
Fat bike rider, Ron Williams said, "I think we could all get along, out on the trails and maybe have a wider trail. Be able to have a little additional grooming. But I think it would be really nice to have everybody sharing trails and utilizing them more."
All who participated were treated to free chili and the winning group also got free
Brew House ale.
