DULUTH - Duluth's City Hall is set to get a mini-makeover.
Monday evening, the city council passed a resolution to fix the granite stairway leading to city hall.
Councilors also voted to redo the steps at the St. Louis County Courthouse at the same time.
Both sets of stairs have cracks and are uneven.
The city sees the projects as fixing necessary repairs.
"It's just general maintenance,” said Duluth City Councilor, Howie Hanson. “People sometimes forget that the city is kind of a business in the sense that a lot of repairs."
It will cost about $375,000 to fix both sets of stairs.
Construction is expected to start in a few weeks.
