Northland Honor Flight Vets Reunite

DULUTH - Northland vets who journeyed through a memorial in Washington D.C. last June got together once again. Vets who went on the 7th Honor Flight gathered inside Denfeld High School for a reunion.

Socializing, food, entertainment and copies of the video and photo of the trip was all part of the fun.

"It's a very moving experience being on one of the flights for the veterans,” Honor Flight Northland Co-chair Gerry Herrington said. “They get to gather again with the people who went and get reacquainted and talk."

Honor Flight Northland is looking for veterans especially WWII vets who want to take the trip next year.
