DULUTH- If charity golf tournaments aren't your style, a local non–profit hosted an alternative style fundraiser Saturday.
The Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute held their 16th annual, Shoot for Fun event.
Shooters spent the day shooting clay pigeons, all with the goal of raising more than 100 thousand dollars to support recreational sports for those with disabilities.
Eric Larson with Courage Kenny said, "locally we've been since 1979 providing year round, seasonal recreation in sports programs, from power wheel chair soccer, to downhill skiing, to archery, wheel chair sports and a variety of programs for children on the autism spectrum."
More than 400 shooters partook in the activities.
Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute is always looking for volunteers who are skilled in different sports, to help with their clients.
