Superior H.S. Students Support Honor Flight
By:

SUPERIOR- Superior High School students in the DECA program decided this year they wanted to help veterans in their community, so they chose to support Honor Flight.
On Friday, the students held their 28th-annual charity tailgaiting party at the new Spartans Stadium.
DECA co-chair Giselle Sziron said, "Well, I think it's extremely important considering they've helped us so much and they served for our country. We talked to two vets, one of them unfortunately couldn't make it tonight. He was really appreciative of the program. he had a great time in Washington D.C."
The goal is to raise enough money to send six veterans to Washington D.C. through Northland Honor Flight.
It costs about $600 per veteran.
