DULUTH - A nonprofit organization is giving a local woman's home a tiny face lift.
Habitat for Humanity is building Shirley Sundeen a new deck with stairs and an access ramp.
Her old porch was full of mold and mildew.
The project is part of Habitat's Brush With Kindness program, helping to preserve homes and revitalize neighborhoods.
"Just like a miracle, it is, I can't believe it,” said Sundeen. “This happened, you know, it's everything came about so quickly and I don't have a husband so that helps all the more."
If you would like to volunteer or get help from Habitat for Humanity give them a call or visit their website.
