Grand Avenue To Get Resurfaced For Miles

DULUTH - Duluth's vision to develop the St. Louis River Corridor is moving forward with new infrastructure.

The bumpy, rundown, crumbling Grand Avenue in West Duluth is now set for a multi-million dollar makeover.

Starting in the spring of 2015, the Minnesota Department of Transportation will resurface Grand Avenue from I-35 to 84rd.

Then in 2016, resurfacing will extend to Becks Road.

Bike lanes, gutters and new sidewalks are included in the project.
