House Fire Results in Hospital Visit

IRON - A residential fire in Iron resulted in a loss of a house and hospital visit for one family early Thursday morning.

When the St. Louis County Sheriff's Department arrived to the location the house was engulfed in flames and ended up being a total loss.

Three adults, one child and two dogs were in the house at the time.

The child and dogs escaped without injuries, but all three adults received burns and were transported to Essentia Health Hospital in Virginia.

The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation.
