Final Chance To Help 'Stuff the Bus'
By:
VIRGINIA - Some folks on the Iron Range are making sure every student has what they need for the start of school.
The Virginia Salvation Army is hosting "Stuff the Bus."
They are accepting school supply donations at a bus parked inside the Thunderbird Mall.
The campaign started Aug. 4, and Friday is the last chance to help stuff the bus!
"There are people in need that school supplies is an area that you might not think of when you think people in need. You think housing, you think food. You don't necessarily think, well if they had kids going to school they're going to need pencils," said Salvation Army Lt. Sean Wise.
You can drop donations off from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
If you'd like to receive some of these school supplies, you can go to the Salvation Army Thursday, August 21.
