DULUTH- Burger lovers had many reasons to salivate Thursday night. For the 7th year, Grill Wars attracted more than 1,500 people and allowed them to sample burgers from 15 different restaurants and vendors.
But the event also raises more than $10,000 for Boys and Girls clubs in the Northland.
Director of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Northland, Todd Johnson said, "It's a wonderful night. We've got tons of people here and it increases the awareness of what we do here in the Northland for the children of our community."
The Boys and Girls Clubs serve over 3,500 children, from ages six through eight -- all over the Northland.
They aim to help them grow academically and increase life skills.
