DULUTH - About a dozen people gathered outside the Georgia Pacific building Wednesday protesting Congressional candidate
Stewart Mills.
The plant was closed nearly two years ago by the Koch Brothers who protestors say made big donations to his campaign.
The protestors say Mills is out of touch with the people in Minnesota's Eighth District.
Glenn Jackson worked at the plant for 21 years before being forced into retirement with its closing.
Jackson spoke at the protest saying, "Stewart Mills doesn't care about that. He doesn't care about jobs all he's worried about is getting the money from his rich friends, letting him ruin the environment and whatever else."
One hundred forty people in Duluth lost their jobs when the plant shut down.
The Koch company employs about 100,000 people worldwide, and an employee said the Duluth plant was simply shut down because it was no longer profitable.
Fox 21 reached out to the Stewart Mills campaign and they have yet to respond.
