Cloquet Humane Society Hosts Fundraiser
By:
CLOQUET- Animal shelters help folks find new friends or retrieve lost ones and today it was the animal hospital that was asking for help.
The Friends of Animals Humane Society in Cloquet held a spaghetti dinner fundraiser and silent auction Saturday to help with shelter operation costs.
The shelter cares for about 120–130 animals at a given time and wants to be able to continue for years to come.
Director Cindy Haglin said, "without a place to go, people to provide a roof, food, water, opportunity for walks, they would be hopeless and so we want to reach into our hearts and give to the animals in our community."
If you weren't able to attend, you can always donate and here's the link http://www.foaonline.org/donate.html.
You can also sponsor animals if you can't adopt.
Friends of animals will have a booth at the upcoming Carlton County fair.
