Accident Sends Several to Area Hosptials

PRESS RELEASE- St. Louis County Sheriff's Department received a report of a two vehicle personal injury traffic accident.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Admiral Road and lron Junction Road in Clinton Township.

Both vehicles caught fire.

Rebekah Carter was air lifted from the scene to St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth.

Kylie Carter was transported by ambulance to University Medical Center Mesabi in Hibbing and then airlifted to St Mary's Hospital in Duluth.

Samuel Stanisich was transported by ambulance to the University Medical Center Mesabi in Hibbing.

At this time the extent of their injuries is unknown.

The accident remains under investigation by the St Louis County Sheriff's Office and MN State Patrol.
