Campers Set Up for Bayfront Blues Festival

DULUTH - July and August are known for camping and some people are even set up in the parking lot at the DECC.

Since last Friday, campers have been rolling into the parking lot, trying to snag the best spot for the Bayfront Blues Festival.

Campers there say their favorite part of the festival is meeting new people and becoming friends with them throughout the years.

"We're like family. As soon as I pulled in yesterday, I didn't even have my camper all the way backed in and there were friends coming up to greet me," Wanda Matiski, from International Falls.

The festival officially starts Friday with the first band taking the stage at 11:30 a.m.
