CHISHOLM - New at the St. Louis County Fair this year is a food harvest event held by the Salvation Army.
The non-profit is taking food and cash donations at the main gate and you'll get a dollar off your admission if you donate.
The Northland Foundation is matching $200 to every 1,000 pounds of food.
"I have personally been on the other side and needed the help. I love to minister to people and love to show them the love of Christ. I just love to help people," said Debbie Stahl, with the Salvation Army.
Once they reach 10,000 pounds of donations, the Salvation Army will get an additional $2,500 donation from the Northland Foundation.
