DULUTH - Friday kicked off the start to Duluth’s newest music festival in Bayfront Park.
Howling Moon Fest features a variety of bands playing alternative country, rock, and folk music.
Singer/songwriter Sarah Krueger was one of the first acts to take the stage with Lake Superior as her backdrop.
She was more than happy to play her tunes in front of her hometown.
"Everyone's just enjoying themselves and relaxed and out for a good time and to enjoy the music," Krueger said.
The two-day music festival continues Saturday.
