CHUM Hosts 10th Rhubarb Festival

DULUTH - The 10th Annual Rhubarb Festival is honoring Steve O'Neil, the man who started the fun tradition and continuously advocated for Duluth's homeless.
The festival is meant to bring community together for the true meaning of CHUM's mission statement.
"So this is a demonstration of if we did that 100 percent, this is how the whole world would feel all of the time. There would be tables, there would be abundance, there would be joy, there would be music, there would be dancing. So, this is a demonstration of what can happen and the spirit that happens when everybody comes together," said Lee Stuart, Executive Director of CHUM.
It is also one of CHUM's biggest fundraisers.
The money is put toward their shelter program, food shelf and programs that help house homeless families.
