DULUTH - Duluth police were investigating an armed robbery Monday night at a business on London Rd. in Duluth that left the businesses owner with a gunshot wound to his chest.

Authorities tell FOX 21 the call came in around 7:20 p.m. at 1709 London Rd.

Two male suspects entered the business and demanded money before the male victim, Colin Mackin, was shot, according to a Duluth police official.

Parts of the street were blocked off with police tape.

Investigators were in and out of the business that had a sign called PC/Mac & Cell Phone Repair Shop.

As of Monday night, police were searching for two male suspects. No descriptions were released as of midnight.

Around 12:30 a.m., Mackin told FOX 21's Dan Hanger that he was "a little out of it at the moment" and that his "right lung collapsed, so breathing is pretty difficult."  He also clarified the actual name of his business is iLF Smartphone Clinic. The PC/Mac sign seen in the video from the crime scene is a generic sign that Mackin put up when he moved the business from West Duluth to London Road a year ago.

Mackin also released the following statement Monday night on his Facebook page that describes what happened before he was shot.

"So, my shop got robbed about 40 minutes ago. V for vendetta masks and slim barrel handguns. They were very reluctant to fire their guns so I assumed they must be fake. They tried to tie my arms, but I fought them off. As they left, I saw my MacBook sticking out of their bag, so I chased him out the door and started calling for help and tackled the guy in the snow bank, as well as put him in a headlock. Eventually, his buddy came to his aid and knocked me off of him. Then they pointed the gun at my chest and shot me point blank. I didn't realize it was real until I saw the blood. Praise The Lord however, because the doctors are shocked. They said "people who get shot in the chest die" but the bullet went clean in and out so cleanly that no surgery is even needed. No arteries hit. I'm amazed and so thankful to God for his amazing grace. I could have died tonight, but I didn't."– Colin Mackin
