Northbound Interstate 35 restricted to a single lane June 1 in Scanlon

PRESS RELEASE-  Motorists traveling on northbound Interstate 35 at the St. Louis River Bridge in Scanlon will be restricted to a single lane beginning Sunday, June 1, as work on a bridge painting and rehabilitation project continues.

The lane will remain closed until approximately June 19.

Motorists may also encounter temporary lane closures on both northbound and southbound I-35 beneath the County Road 13 Bridge near Barnum when work is required over the traffic lanes.

The I-35 bridge rehabilitation project will extend the life of several bridges and improve motorist safety.
