SUPERIOR- Northland teens took advantage of the beautiful weather to make part of Superior more lovely.
Several teens from the Northland Foundation Youth Leadership Academy planted trees and prepared garden space for Memory Lane, an adult day service.
Superior teen, Ashley said they were doing the project, "to help the community become a nicer place."
And Audra said, "we're helping the people that come here, and just making it look nice, and helping them to be able to plant and walk around safely."
The teens spent 9 months creating and planning for the service project.
The teens are each nominated by teachers and parents to participate in the academy.
