Squaw Lake Man Killed Crossing Highway

A pedestrian died last night after being hit by a van on Higway 46.

The Minnesota State Patrol said Keith Rogers was trying to cross the highway when he was struck around 8:15 pm.

Rogers was trasported to a Grand Rapids hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The police report said that alcohol was found in Roger's system. The driver of the van was not injured.

It is not yet clear if there will be any charges brought against the driver.
