Long Time Veterans Advocate, Durbin Keeney Passes

DULUTH- Durbin Keeney, a tireless advocate for the Northlands Veterans, has passed away.

Keeney helped organized numerous events including memorial day parade, veteran stand down events, and he helped secure funding for the MACV Veterans Housing Complex in West Duluth.

The three building complex Keeney helped to secure has eleven permanent housing units, four transitional housing units, and one transitional handicap accessible unit.
