1 Person Escapes House Fire in Ault Township

BRIMSON - One person has escaped a fire without injury in Ault Township.
The Brimson Volunteer Fire Department and a St. Louis County Deputy responded to Elo Road around 11 pm Wednesday night.
The homeowner said she awakened to a house filled with smoke but was able to get out.
The home was engulfed in flames and mutual aid was called in to battle the blaze.
It was a total loss and investigators believe the fire started in a wood burning stove.
