DULUTH- Local students are performing their own music for this year's Duluth Homegrown Music Festival at The Underground.6th through 12th graders from the Music Resource Center showcased their talents Tuesday night with hour-long shows.
The bands and soloists are no strangers to performing arts, but being a part of Duluth's Homegrown is one of their biggest achievements of their young lives.
Plus, they're excited to bring a much younger generation to the festival.
"It's the next generation of our artist's here in Duluth. It just keeps the tradition going, keeps the show alive," Music Resource Center explained, "We're just uh, raising the next crop!"
This is the MRC's third year participating in Homegrown.
They even have a few alumni performing on their own, throughout the festival.
